I think I'll stick with Comodo. Just ran the first full scan, and I can't say I was shocked with how many infections it found. Over 80. I knew there were things Microsoft Security Essentials was missing, but I had no idea it was that bad. Some of the infections were rather dangerous, for instance w32.downadup.b, also known as Conficker. I am super glad I switched. Now i got my system clean, and hopefully it will stay that way

Try Malwarebytes, trust me it's the best and you can have both.

Malwarebytes is not an antivirus, its something to clean malware with from your pc. As long as you dont do very stupid things MSE or the baked in version in windows 10 will do enough as a low profile antivirus.

Tronscript is a great glorified batch program that is made specifically to attempt to fully clean your pc. Heard good stuff about it but thankfully haven't had to use it.

That's why I suggested him to use the both. And thanks for the information, I'll check out it.

Avast is wayyy too heavy on resources. I went ahead and purchased a 5-year license of Faronics Anti-virus. It was rather expensive, (115.00 total) but in the end it was the best choice as I already have a few Faronics Products, (Deep Freeze Enterprise, Anti-Executable, and WinSelect). With faronics products, you get what is called Faronics Core. You can install the various products on as many different PC's as you need, (in my case I have my desktop, 3 laptops, my mom's laptop, and my girlfriend even asked me to install it on hers as she's not exactly tech savvy), and you manage all your "deployments" from Faronics Core, which I installed on my main desktop. As you only need the one license activated through Core, that same license can apply for up to 100 deployments, which is why it was so expensive.

To get a read up on Faronics antivirus, here is the link http://www.faronics.com/products/anti-virus/
