Windows 10 problem

Unread postby PÕQ~Thunder » Mon Aug 10, 2015 3:21 pm

Okay windows 10 users... I just got 10. Was playing coldsnap, trying to adjust my brightness. Somehow I managed to turn it all the way down, can't see anything, and the "Brightness up and down" buttons are not working. Does anyone know how to fix this? (@Storm, David, Prince..?)

PS, keep in mind I can not see the screen to do
anything.

it may be your drivers, if you can see enough to get around try updating your drivers or restarting your computer.

More then likely. I restarted. Nothing. The screen is 100% black, only works on boot up. So I can't see anything.

I seem to have figured it out. My buttons still don't work, but when I unplug my charger, my screen comes back to life. It's still a dull look, not very bright, but I can see it. Probably some settings that need to be messed with.. at least I can see to update my drivers now. :Check

Well you know when power source changes settings related to them also changes like light and how to use the power so you can go to control panel and change the settings if your keys wont work

here is how to do it

By default, Windows adjusts the display brightness automatically. It works very well, too. However, if you want to get the max brightness you need to put the display under _manual _control e.g. the keyboard function keys. Here is how to do that:
  1. All Settings
  2. System
  3. Display
  4. Toggle on or off auto screen brightness.

And please update your drivers :)
